Polaroid is back at our Wire home after being on the road of late and we have lined up a belter. Todd Terje makes up the holy trinity of Norwegian nu-disco producers along with his peers Prins Thomas and Hans-Peter Lindstr�m. Born Terje Olsen in Mj�ndalen, a rural outpost in Norway he later moved to Oslo where he adopted the Todd Terje moniker in a sly nod to house pioneer Todd Terry. At 27 he has racked up more re-edits and re-works of old disco, house and pop tracks than you can shake a dusty 12� at. From Chic to Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon to Jose Gonzales, Terje has gained a reputation for putting an original dance floor spin on long forgotten gems. It�s not just his re-edits that have caught the ear; 2005�s �Eurodans� was a soaring piece of blissful disco-house that put him on the map, his remix of Lindstr�m�s �Another Station�, an electronic masterpiece and this year�s huge rework of Simon Baker�s �Plastik� with its overdubs of Eastern percussion and live elements hint at him maturing as a producer. In support the Night Flight boys take time out from throwing the best parties in Dublin to get things started with a fusion of electronic disco and house. The guys have put on some exceptional parties this year with the likes of Joakim, Prins Thomas and Francois K, so they know a thing or two about good music. To complete this month�s line up, Bobby returns for his first Polaroid gig since his triumphant set at Bestival.

After scaling things down over the quiet summer months, Polaroid is back with not one but two parties in the same weekend. We really do spoil you. First up, on Friday 7th September at our home the Wire club we welcome Shit Robot from DFA Records out of New York. We are obviously really excited about this one as long standing fans of the DFA stable. Marcus Lambkin aka Shit Robot has been with DFA from day one since hooking up with James Murphy in New York where they DJ�d together at Centro-Fly. Since then Marcus has been touring with LCD Soundystem and Juan Maclean and releasing wonderful punk-funk and wonky disco as Shit Robot. Do not miss�

Two days later we up-sticks and de-camp down the road for an all-day Courtyard Party at the Vodka Revolution bar on Call Lane. We�re delighted that the Shirley Bassey of house Miss Danielle Moore, lead singer with the excellent Crazy P has agreed to come and play an exclusive DJ set for us. Not only does Danielle perform at some of the best festivals in the world and mesmerise crowds with her stage presence but she�s also a class DJ, reports coming back from this years Big Chill say she was the best thing there. First one to get her on the mic wins a bottle of Vodka�
