The venue’s basement feel coupled with its brickwork arches, metal furnishings and custom built Funktion One sound system give the night a true underground feel in a unique party space. Never ones to conform to any musical genre Polaroid believe in playing good music, whilst drawing on influences from deep disco, acid house and contemporary electronic music. This eclectic musical attitude coupled with a friendly, pretence-free and party centric atmosphere has seen Polaroid become among the first club nights in the UK to showcase artists who have gone on to become heavy-weights in the international dance music world such as Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, In Flagranti, Joakim and Todd Terje amongst many others.
